Many people have called me a renaissance man because I’ve never been satisfied with just one narrow niche. Throughout my life I’ve kept studying, learning, and trying new things across many areas — and even at 78 years old, I still can’t stop! My body may be slowing down a little, but my curiosity and desire to keep exploring remain as strong as ever.
Christine and I have structured the channel around three broad main categories that together capture the full range of our interests and experiences:
These four sections give us the freedom to explore widely while staying true to who we are as a couple. As we continue learning and growing, we’ll likely add more detailed subjects that naturally emerge from our ongoing adventures.
We’re currently refreshing our website and updating the YouTube channel to better reflect this broader, authentic direction. Our hope is to create a welcoming home for fellow lifelong learners — people who enjoy thoughtful content on faith that works in real life, different languages and cultures, and stories that stir the heart and mind.
On a personal note, we’ve settled in beautiful Montana, and we’re both so thankful to be only three hours from our grandchildren. Christine especially hopes we never have to move again — we’re slowing down physically and truly love the slower pace here. We’re excited to explore more of this amazing state together and share some of those Montana adventures with you. We’ll also recommend Montana-made or Montana-inspired products (books, outdoor gear, artisan goods, and other items) that fit naturally with our themes of faith, culture, and storytelling.
If you’re someone who loves exploring real-life faith, diving into cultures and languages, or enjoying meaningful stories — and if you appreciate hearing from a couple who are still curious and growing even in their later years — we’d love for you to join us!
